I started enlisting clients in Oct 2007! I asked Terri if she could assist me in launching my business by letting me create her wedding ensemble. I probably forced her now that I think about..lol. I stalked TheKnot.com and downloaded templates and pictures of inspiration from those savvy women on a daily basis.
We started with a Save the Date Magnet
Terri brought me her invitation inspiration and told me that she wanted a "Double-Heart" themed wedding and her colors were two shades of purple and silver. I suggested that she let me recreate something with a twist instead of using the Michael's template below.
Those double hearts were embossed on there and I had no clue on how to do it..but of course I was going to find out. The internet is truly a great resource. I discovered The Paper Source in Georgetown during one of surfs on TheKnot. This place is Paper Heaven I would spend hours in there drooling over the things I wanted to buy.
My eyes fell upon the perfect design for Terri in a Portfolio of samples that they had at Paper Source.
I left there with a Double heart stamp, Vellum, Silver Enclosure , Heat Tool, Tray, Powder, Stamp Pad, Ribbon whole punch, Eyelet, Eyelet Setter, Hammer, Cardstock, and Specialty Paper to make pockets on the inside of enclosure .
Fan Program
Fan Handles were purchased from No Ordinary Day and the delivery was seamless. They provide you with instructions on how to create fan programs. The beautiful metallic paper was purchased through my favorite vendor Paper and More
